Super Bowl XLVIII Car Commercials

Carmakers spent an estimated $100 million in ad time during last night’s broadcast of the Super Bowl. In all, 13 brands paid a reported rate of $4 million for 30 seconds of air time.

The commercials ranged from the fun, comical and outrageous (Audi, Hyundai, Toyota and Volkswagen) to the brooding and introspective (Jaguar, Hyundai and Chevy).
